At the end of 2015, I turned fifty (an event which tends to concentrates the mind).  As with many people, when I reached the half century mark, I took stock of my life up to that point and thought about what I wanted the rest of it to look like.  Upon reaching this milestone, I could honestly say that I was very happy and very grateful for all of the many blessings in my life.   

Since 1994, I have been married to Scot, the love of my life whom I met while we attended USC Law School.  We have two amazing teenage children, Nick and Amanda, who are thriving and are a delight to us. 

In 2004, we moved from Los Angeles to Boulder, Colorado.  We built our dream home in the mountains and we love our life in this vibrant University town in the foothills of the Rockies. For the most part, I had wonderful relationships with my family and friends, enjoyed my part time legal practice, had fun planning travel for my family and friends and was actively involved in the community.  Life was good.
